The central themes which run through the majority of the projects I undertake focus on skills to use materials, the natural world, reclaimed materials, spaces, places and human connect. Combining traditional such as mark making, drawing, printmaking, sculpting, textiles techniques with modern digital photography.
Problem solving is a life skill. By working through ideas, making mistakes and using practical skill to meet a solution. Creativity is a process in which ideas can be made into reality through exploration, knowledge and imagination. Arts projects are a way of developing that process which then can be transferred into any part of life. Making something out of nothing. It's alchemy, it's magic.
